45% Give Trump Positive Marks on Economy

The unemployment rate is down and the stock market has hit record highs. So perhaps it’s no surprise that nearly half of voters give President Donald Trump positive marks for his handling of the economy.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters rate the way Trump is handling economic issues as good or excellent, including 30% who give him excellent marks in this area. Thirty-six percent (36%) think the president is doing a poor job handling economic issues. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
