Most Americans Confident About U.S. Banking System

Nearly seven out of 10 Americans (68%) are confident in the stability of the U.S. banking system, even as Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson says more banks in this country are likely to fail.

This telephone survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted by Rasmussen Reports on July 17-18, 2008. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
