Taxpayers Are Slower to Pay This Year

Americans are behind schedule when it comes to filing their income taxes by today’s deadline.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 73% of American Adults have already filed, with another 12% who plan to file by today. But that 85% overall total is down slightly from findings over the last three years. Six percent (6%) intend to get an extension, and 10% are not sure when they will file.
