41% Have Already Filed Their Income Taxes

Despite the lure of bigger deductions from changes in federal tax law, Americans haven’t stepped up the pace of filing their tax returns.

Forty-one percent (41%) of American Adults say they already have filed their income taxes. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 46% plan to file by the April 15 deadline, while six percent (6%) intend to seek an extension.
