40% of Democrats Think Pence is Qualified to be President

A majority of voters view Vice President Mike Pence favorably and believe he is qualified to assume the responsibilities of the presidency, though Democrats largely disagree.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63%of Likely U.S. Voters think Pence is qualified to assume the responsibilities of the presidency, while 32% don’t think he’s qualified to fill that position. These figures include 40% who say he is Very Qualified and 15% who believe he is Not At All Qualified. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
