Voters Are Cooler to America First Than Trump Is

Voters here are more confident these days in the global power of the U.S. president, but they say President Trump pushes America’s interests more than they think is necessary.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters now believe the president of the United States is the most powerful person in the world. Thirty-nine percent (39%) disagree, while 14% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
