Trump’s Tax Returns Remain A Big Deal for Democrats Only

Most voters still think President Trump should turn over his tax returns to his Democratic opponents, but the tax return question is a lot stronger voting issue for Democrats than it is for others.

Democrats in Congress are asking the Internal Revenue Service for six years of Trump’s personal tax returns and the tax returns from some of his businesses, and 53% of Likely U.S. Voters think the president should comply. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 38% disagree and say the president should not release his tax returns to congressional Democrats. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
