The Rasmussen Minute: NFL Hell? - Since then-San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat for the national anthem during a pre-season game last August to protest systemic police brutality in America, the NFL has been sacked with declining viewership and favorability ratings.

President Trump earlier last month re-ignited the controversy surrounding a relatively small number of NFL players who had followed Kaepernick's initial lead in protesting the national anthem when he wished aloud that some NFL team owners would get any "son of a bitch" who disrespected the American flag off the field.

In turn, more players than ever rallied to Kaepernick's cause and against the president's comments by joining in protests of the national anthem before NFL games despite the threat of a damaging fan backlash. Can the NFL survive this latest hit to its reputation, or will its business "go to hell," as the president predicted it might? That's the subject of this week's Rasmussen Minute.
